A Sometimes when I sit down to write the lyrics to these little ditties I just get in a stream-of-consciousness mode where all these little thoughts that have been on my mind or in my crazy dreams just comes out as lyrics. That's the case with this one. Started out as a relationship song but then the verses took on a strange poetic life of their own. Speaking to physical ailments among other things. So, I suppose the underlying theme of this one is bad love, babies, bad love.

"She Cuts, I Bleed"

When my nose runs, I look at the sun.
Then I sneeze it away.
When my throats, sore, I drink some.
And then I swish it all away.
When my eyes tear, I let if flow.
I don't wipe them away.

She's what I want. She's what I need. She's what I've got. She cuts me, I bleed.
Keep step in time, all of your life, When you feel good, and when you feel nice.

Old Rockers, New Records.
But the radio won't play them.
Have you heard there's a new John Couger record?
Have you heard there's a new Paul Stanley record?
That I read.

Old rockers, new records.
But the radio won't play them.
Old rockers, new records.
They broke the records 30 years ago.

Have you heard there's a new Iron Maiden record?
Have you hear there's a new Judas Priest record?Have you heard, there's a new Lindsey Buckingham record? Have you heard there's a new Robert Plant record?
So I heard.?

Old Rockers, New Records.
But the radio still plays their songs from 30 years ago.
Old Rockers, New Records.
And all the radio can say is.....
ad lib classic rock lyrics
